Advanced Orthopedics at BWMC Offers Joint School

GLEN BURNIE, MD - Orthopedic specialists from Advanced Orthopedics at Baltimore Washington Medical Center offer "Joint School" to provide a free educational opportunity for patients who are considering having total joint replacement surgery or interested in learning more about joint replacements. The program is offered at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, located at 301 Hospital Drive.

Presented by Certified Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, the program explains the details of total joint replacement surgery and gives those who are contemplating whether or not to have surgery an opportunity to ask questions and receive information on what to expect during the preparation and recovery stages of the procedure.
