Cancer Education and Outreach
The Tate Cancer Center is committed to the prevention and early diagnosis of cancer. Our staff provides education and screenings throughout the year at various locations. Click here to see BWMC's calendar of events.
The center also offers the following support groups:
- Surviving Breast Cancer - This free program provides a comfortable and confidential setting to openly discuss and share common experiences and problems related to being a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient. The group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Tate Cancer Center first floor conference room. Reservations are not requested. - Man-to-Man (prostate cancer education and support) - This free program provides a comfortable and confidential setting to openly discuss and share common experiences and problems related to prostate cancer. The group meets on the second Monday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Tate Cancer Center first floor conference room. Reservations are not requested.
