Look Good, Feel Better Workshop
- The Tate Cancer Center is proud to be a designated site for American Cancer Society’s excellent Look Good, Feel Better program. This program is free for adults of all genders and ages who are dealing with appearance changes (hair loss and/or skin changes) from cancer treatment. Classes are taught by licensed beauty professionals (cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians). During this workshop, you will learn specific techniques to enhance your appearance. Therapeutic Yoga for Cancer
- We offer free therapeutic yoga to our cancer survivors and their caregivers, twice a month. No prior yoga experience is necessary. In 2017, the yoga classes are being offered in the Executive Center, 300 Hospital Drive, Suite 128, the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Support for Caregivers and Kids
- There are a variety of books, activities and support groups for caregivers and kids who have a family member being treated for cancer. Please contact our social worker at 410-553-8179 so that she can connect you and your family with support through this challenging time.
