Recognizing that the role of a hospital isn't simply to treat illness, Baltimore Washington Medical Center also strengthens the communities we serve through outreach programs. By promoting healthier families and creating opportunities for people to improve their lives today, BWMC aims to impact the health of the community for many generations to come.
By combining education, screenings and support groups, BWMC provides programs for every member of the family. Stork's Nest, Camp Airways, Day of Dance and cancer screenings are just a few of BWMC's programs that promote wellness and meet the needs of those we serve.
Many of our programs and services are a collaborative effort with community organizations, corporations and volunteers who have made a similar commitment to making health a priority. Together, we are making a difference in our community and improving health, one person a time.
