Baltimore Washington Medical Center Endocrinologist, Kathleen Prendergast, M.D. will be providing a free lecture titled “Diabetes is Not So Sweet: The Link Between Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease” on Wednesday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Baltimore Washington Medical Center located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. This informative lecture will address the important link between diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Community members are encouraged to attend to learn the risk factors of how managing diabetes and the corresponding conditions help to lower the chances of heart disease.
