Free Deep-Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Screening

Overview

The Maryland Vascular Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is offering a free deep-vein thrombosis (DVT) screening in the Dr. Constantine Padussis Conference Center located on the third floor of the medical center. Risk factors of DVT include, but are not limited to, obesity, smoking, lung disease and restricted mobility. Understanding these risk factors and warnings signs of DVT can help reduce the risk of developing a potentially fatal blood clot. This event will provide community members with a DVT risk assessment and review by a BWMC clinician. Reservations are not requested.
