Biopsia del intestino delgado

Es un procedimiento de diagnóstico en el cual se extrae una porción del revestimiento del intestino delgado para ser examinada. Se inserta un tubo flexible de fibra óptica (endoscopio) a través de la boca o nariz y se dirige hacia la parte superior del tracto gastrointestinal donde se toma una muestra de tejido. Este examen se realiza con mayor frecuencia para ayudar en el diagnóstico de enfermedades del intestino delgado.
