Our Registered Nurses
RN, BSN, MS, ACNP-BC
Mrs. DeVeaux received her BSN and MS degrees from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, and is a certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with additional certification in cardiovascular and critical care nursing. Mrs. DeVeaux is a Faculty Associate at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and serves on the Executive Council of the Society for Vascular Nursing. Terry coordinates pre-op patient planning, manages in-patient and out-patient follow-up, and the medical management of non-surgical vascular problems. She has a special interest in vascular disease prevention.
RN, BSN, MS, CRNP-AC
Ms. Owen is a graduate of the University of Maryland Acute Care/Trauma, Critical Care and Emergency Nursing CNS/ACNP program and is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of surgical critical care nursing experience including assisting with open heart procedures and working in burn units. Ms. Owen is primarily involved in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of our vascular patients. She has a special interest in endovascular interventions.
Our Registered Vascular Technologists
All of our technologists are ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologists (RVT) and the lab is led by technical director Dave Robley.
- Dave Robley: Mr. Robley has over 30 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist and has worked at The Maryland Vascular Center since 2002. He is a certified registered diagnostic medical sonographer, registered vascular technologist and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Mr. Robely is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Society of Vascular Technology. He is a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County Ultrasound Technology Program.
- Robin Williamson: Robin Williamson has over 15 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist and has worked at The Maryland Vascular Center since 2004. She is a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer registered in general and obstetrical ultrasound as well as vascular sonography. Mrs. Williamson is a member of the Society of Vascular Technology. She has been a clinical instructor for the University of Maryland Baltimore County Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program since 2000.
- Nicole Brandts: Nicole Brandts is a certified registered diagnostic medical sonographer and registered vascular technologist. Ms. Brandts has been performing ultrasound since 2001 and has been employed with Maryland Vascular Center at UM BWMC since 2006.
- Nicole Lanham: Nicole Lanham is a registered vascular technologist. Ms. Lanham has been performing ultrasound since 2009 and has been employed with Maryland Vascular Center at UM BWMC since 2012.
Mark Mallare serves as the Administrative Director of Vascular and Cardiac Services. He began his medical management career in 1995 at the Washington Hospital Center in Kidney Transplantation. Prior to his arrival at UM BWMC in 2004, he was the Administrator for Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery and Surgical Oncology for the Department of Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System. Mallare holds a Master of Arts degree from Catholic University in Washington, DC and a Master of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University.
