Preventing Diabetes Class Offered at Joslin Diabetes Center at BWMC
GLEN BURNIE, MD - The Joslin Diabetes Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is offering classes on diabetes prevention. A diabetes educator will lead a one hour class discussion and offer suggestions on how to make simple nutrition and exercise changes that can significantly reduce the chance of developing type II diabetes.
Preventing Diabetes will be offered on October 14, November 11 and December 2 from 5 to 6 p.m., December 11 from 9 to 10 a.m. and November 23 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Joslin Diabetes Center located at 300 Hospital Drive, Suite 119.
This class is recommended for anyone interested in learning more about how eating healthier and being more active can affect overall health and wellness.
